Sustainable Design

Intro

Environmental responsibility is integral to my design philosophy. I create buildings that aspire to regenerative/positive  ecological impact while maximizing comfort, health, and connection to nature.

From permaculture and passive design strategies to advanced building systems, I integrate sustainable approaches that benefit both people and planet. My experience includes Passive House design, Living Building Challenge and Permaculture Certification, demonstrating my commitment to the highest standards of regenerative design, energy efficiency and indoor air quality.

My Sustainable Design Strategies

Passive Design – Orienting buildings and configuring spaces to capture natural light and manage solar gain Energy Efficiency – Minimizing energy consumption through insulation, air sealing, and efficient systems Material Selection – Choosing materials for durability, low environmental impact, and healthy indoor air quality Water Conservation – Implementing strategies to reduce water usage and manage stormwater Connection to Nature – Creating visual and physical links to the natural environment
